• Smith wins WBA title and World Boxing Super Series
Callum Smith won the WBA super-middleweight title and was crowned World Boxing Super Series champion following a stunning knockout victory over his British rival George Groves in Saudi Arabia.
After six tight and tense rounds Smith exploded into action in the seventh, rocking Groves through a flurry of punches that sent his opponent to the ground and saw him unable to make the count.
